The COMFAST CF-EW85 is a powerful, weatherproof outdoor dual-band Wi-Fi access point, designed to provide high-performance connectivity across large outdoor areas. It delivers combined speeds of up to 1300 Mbps, with approximately 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz, ensuring fast and stable wireless connections for multiple users simultaneously.
Powered by a Qualcomm chipset trio (QCA9563 + QCA9886 + QCA8337), backed by 128 MB RAM and 16 MB flash, the CF-EW85 is built to handle modern networking demands. Its three external 5 dBi omnidirectional antennas provide strong and consistent coverage, making it ideal for outdoor cafés, schools, farms, warehouses, and community networks.
This access point offers versatile connectivity with 1× Gigabit WAN, 2× Gigabit LAN, a reset button, and DC input. For power, it supports 48 V PoE (802.3af/at) over Ethernet for clean single-cable installs, or 12 V DC when PoE isn’t available. Despite drawing less than 18 W, it delivers impressive RF performance with up to 29 dBm (800 mW) output power and receive sensitivity down to –96 dBm.
Engineered for outdoor reliability, the CF-EW85 features a rugged IP66-rated waterproof housing, optional wall or pole mounting, and a long service life with an MTBF of over 250,000 hours. Its compact size (90 × 388 mm plus ~188 mm antenna length) ensures easy deployment even in space-constrained installations.
